Giants List Cam Skattebo Doubtful vs. Eagles With Hamstring Injury
Cam Skattebo is doubtful for Sunday at Philadelphia after another missed practice with a hamstring injury, putting Devin Singletary in line for the lead role
The New York Giants have listed running back Cam Skattebo as doubtful for Sunday's game at the Philadelphia Eagles because of a hamstring injury, Adam Schefter reported Friday.
Skattebo did not practice Friday after being held out of meaningful work earlier in the week. He has been New York's lead back when available, totaling 418 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 98 carries (4.3 yards per attempt) plus 11 catches for 76 yards over seven games. A doubtful tag on Friday typically means he will not suit up.

Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Giants are listing RB Cam Skattebo as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles due to his hamstring injury.
If Skattebo is sidelined, Giants beat writer Jordan Raanan reported that Devin Singletary is likely to handle the primary role, with Greg Desrosiers Jr. and Phil Mafah among the other backs available. Singletary is the most experienced option in that group. The Giants sit at 4-2-1 atop the NFC East and can hardly afford a flat ground game against a Philadelphia defense that has been the one consistent piece for a 2-6 Eagles club.
Kickoff is 1 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field. New York has won four of its last five and enters as the division leader; keeping the run game functional without Skattebo is central to protecting that lead on the road.
