Brown did not practice all week after the knee flared up again. He was also ruled out last week against Miami and has been unable to stay healthy since returning from a high-ankle sprain that put him on injured reserve in September. In the two games he has played, he has nine catches for 101 yards and no touchdowns — a far cry from the 8,130-yard career receiver New England traded for.
Without Brown, the Patriots (5-3) lean on DeMario Douglas, Efton Chism and Kyle Williams, with Mack Hollins a candidate to be activated from IR after returning to practice. TreVeyon Henderson is also out after being hospitalized with unexplained neurological symptoms. Green Bay (5-3) visits Foxborough on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
