Rams Rule Out TE Terrance Ferguson for Sunday at Commanders
Barshop: Ferguson flips from no designation to OUT with ankle/hamstring after Friday practice setback
Terrance Ferguson's return flipped in a hurry. The Rams listed the second-year tight end as out for Sunday's game at the Washington Commanders after he appeared earlier Friday with no injury designation and looked good to go.
Sarah Barshop reported that Ferguson is now on the injury report with ankle and hamstring issues. He had been working back from the ankle that put him on injured reserve in early October, and the fresh hamstring setback in Friday's practice ended the plan for him to play at Washington.

Los Angeles (4-4) is thin at the position for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Colby Parkinson is questionable with a rib injury, leaving Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen as the clearest healthy options if Parkinson cannot go. Ferguson, a 2025 second-round pick out of Oregon, had seven catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in three games before the ankle landed him on IR.
The designation change pairs with other Rams absences on the Washington trip, including cornerback Jaylen Watson (season-ending shoulder) while Myles Garrett remains on track to be activated from IR. Washington is already short at receiver after ruling out Dyami Brown and Treylon Burks.
