Ravens' Tyler Huntley Out for Foreseeable Future, Leaving Undrafted Rookie Joe Fagnano Next Up
With Lamar Jackson possibly done for the season and Huntley's toe keeping him out, Baltimore is turning to its third-string quarterback for Thursday night against Jacksonville
The Ravens are down to their third quarterback. Tyler "Snoop" Huntley is out for the foreseeable future with his toe injury, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Monday, which leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano next up for Baltimore.
Huntley was believed to have turf toe and was set for an MRI on Monday. Rapoport's update means the Ravens can't count on him anytime soon, on top of losing Lamar Jackson, who needs surgery on his right thumb, is headed to injured reserve and could be out for the season.

Fagnano already played most of Sunday's 36-10 loss in Buffalo. Jackson was hurt on the first offensive snap, Huntley lasted 10 snaps before leaving in the first half, and Fagnano took the other 40, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. It didn't go well. Baltimore finished with 68 net passing yards, and Zay Flowers was held without a catch for the first time in his career on five targets.
The schedule doesn't give the Ravens much room to figure it out. They host the Jaguars on Thursday night, then the Chargers on Monday night the following week. Jacksonville is 5-2, leads the AFC South by three games, and just beat the Colts 42-7, though it lost nose tackle DaVon Hamilton for the season in that game.
At 4-4, Baltimore also has the Nov. 10 trade deadline to think about. Fagnano is the only healthy quarterback on the roster, so the Ravens will need to add at least one more arm this week regardless of who starts Thursday.
