Ravens Down to Rookie Joe Fagnano at QB vs. Bills as Tyler Huntley Is Questionable With Toe Injury
With Lamar Jackson already out, Baltimore turned to its undrafted emergency third quarterback after Huntley got hurt in Buffalo
The Ravens are on their third quarterback of the day in Buffalo. Tyler "Snoop" Huntley, who took over when Lamar Jackson was ruled out with a thumb injury on the first play, is questionable to return with a toe injury, and undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is now running the offense.
Fagnano was Baltimore's emergency No. 3 quarterback, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport noted he's the first one to be used by any team this season.

Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Now Tyler “Snoop” Huntley is hurt and has been replaced by undrafted rookie free agent QB Joe Fagnano.
Huntley had been hurting for a while before he came out, he wasn't moving well and looked very hobbled on his drop-backs, and he'd been checked by the medical staff during an earlier possession. On a third down shortly after, he took a big hit and fumbled deep in Ravens territory. Buffalo turned that into a field goal for a 13-7 lead in the second quarter.
There's still a path back for Huntley. Under the emergency quarterback rule, he can return if he's cleared, If Huntley comes back, Fagnano has to leave the game and can only return if Huntley is hurt again.
It's a rough spot for a team that came in at 4-3 and was counting on Jackson's return from a high ankle sprain to steady the offense. Huntley had started the three games Jackson missed. Now Baltimore has two quarterbacks banged up with a Thursday night home game against the Jaguars four days away, and no word yet on how long either injury will last.
