Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate): #Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh said OC Mike McDaniel will remain the team's offensive play-caller as they return from their bye week.
The Chargers spent the off week self-scouting, and that review ended with no change. It comes after Harbaugh declined to discuss McDaniel's status following the 22-6 loss in Kansas City, when he said the offense needed to be addressed.
McDaniel, fired as Miami's head coach in January, was brought in to get more out of Justin Herbert. It hasn't worked. The Chargers are the league's last winless team at 0-6, averaging 15.0 points per game, and they didn't score a touchdown against the Chiefs.
McDaniel's first game after the review is Sunday against the Rams.
