Cardinals WR Kendrick Bourne Out for the Season With Fractured Tibia
Arizona's No. 2 receiver won't need surgery, but the injury he suffered in Sunday's win in Dallas will sideline him about three months
Kendrick Bourne's season is over. The Cardinals receiver has a fractured tibia that won't require surgery but will keep him out about three months, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday.
Bourne got hurt in the first half of Sunday's 33-30 overtime win over the Cowboys and was on crutches after the game. Coach Mike LaFleur sounded worried at his Monday press conference. "It's not looking good," he said. "Not saying it's the season but it might be." The test results confirmed the worst.

It's a real loss for Arizona's offense. Bourne ranked second among the team's receivers with 26 catches, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, and he was one of the few veterans in a room that was already thin. Michael Wilson, who had 111 receiving yards and the tying touchdown in Dallas, was also banged up Sunday, leaving a group of Wilson, Reggie Virgil, Simi Fehoko, Zay Jones, Shedrick Jackson and Harrison Wallace behind tight end Trey McBride.
The timing isn't great either. LaFleur just named Gardner Minshew his starting quarterback after Minshew's comeback in Dallas, and he'll now try to keep that going with fewer targets to work with. Arizona is also waiting on more news about rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, who LaFleur said hurt "a new portion of the ankle" Sunday, with an update expected Wednesday.
With the trade deadline on Nov. 10, receiver help is a need worth watching for the 3-5 Cardinals. They visit the Seahawks on Sunday.
