Texans rule out Montgomery, Pitre, Fisher and Blankenship against Giants
Houston will be missing four players across its offense and defense for Sunday’s game
The Houston Texans ruled out running back David Montgomery, defensive backs Jalen Pitre and Reed Blankenship, and offensive tackle Blake Fisher for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, Jonathan M. Alexander reported Friday.
Montgomery has a groin injury. Pitre's shoulder injury and Blankenship's concussion remove two members of the secondary at once, leaving Houston to adjust against the Giants' offense.

Jonathan M. Alexander (@jonmalexander): Texans safety Reed Blankenship (concussion), RB David Montgomery (groin), nickel Jalen Pitre (shoulder) and OT Blake Fisher (thumb) were all ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Giants.
Fisher is out with a thumb injury. His absence narrows the available tackle group, while Montgomery's absence leaves Houston without one of its running backs for the matchup.
