Eagles RB Saquon Barkley remains limited; Jonathan Greenard sits Friday

Barkley had limited Friday work with a hamstring issue while Greenard did not practice ahead of the Cowboys game

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley remained limited in Friday's practice with a hamstring injury, while OLB Jonathan Greenard did not participate, according to Jeff McLane's team practice report.

Barkley had been expected to return to practice this week after the hamstring issue, and Friday's limited listing documents his participation without a full workload. The Eagles are preparing to face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, leaving the running back's game designation to a later report.

Greenard's ankle injury kept him out of Friday's session. Philadelphia also held WR DeVonta Smith out with a hamstring issue, along with TE Dallas Goedert because of a knee injury and OLB Nolan Smith because of a concussion. The Eagles have several regulars on both sides of the ball awaiting Monday-game decisions.
