Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on. "Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday," the NFL said. "We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There's been no disruption or impact at league sites."
The Saints are scheduled to leave for Paris tonight ahead of the Oct. 25 matchup with the Steelers at Stade de France. The league's statement noted ongoing coordination with local authorities and the two clubs, stating that there has been no disruption or impact at league sites.
Any decision to shift the game would carry major logistical weight for the NFL, both clubs and the fans who have made travel plans, but the league reiterated Saturday that its operational and security work remains on track.
