Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): The one-game suspension of Bills S C.J. Gardner-Johnson has been upheld upon appeal.
Gardner-Johnson's case is separate from the one-game suspension of Bills defensive back Sam Franklin Jr., whose stated plan to appeal was reported Wednesday. The two players should not be conflated: the upheld appeal announced Thursday names Gardner-Johnson. Franklin's own appeal outcome is not established by this announcement. Buffalo therefore has two distinct disciplinary matters involving its secondary, but only Gardner-Johnson's appeal has a reported resolution here.
