NFL Flexes Four Games in Weeks 9 and 11, Moves Raiders-49ers to 4:25 on Fox

The league changed networks for four games, and it still has to decide by Tuesday whether to flex Buccaneers-Bears out of Sunday night in Week 9

The NFL used its flex scheduling for just the second time this season on Monday, and it did two weeks at once. Four games are changing networks, and one of them is also getting a new kickoff time, CBS Sports reported.

The new slots:

  • Week 9: Raiders at 49ers, 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox
  • Week 9: Lions at Dolphins, 1 p.m. ET on Fox
  • Week 11: Buccaneers at Lions, 1 p.m. ET on Fox
  • Week 11: Dolphins at Bills, 1 p.m. ET on CBS

The biggest change is Raiders-49ers moving into Fox's national late window in Week 9, where it joins Packers-Patriots and Cardinals-Seahawks. That leaves Texans at Chargers as the only CBS game in the late window, at 4:05 p.m. ET. In Week 11, the Bills move from Fox to CBS. Fox has already had a Bills game this season.

One more decision is still coming. Buccaneers at Bears is set for Sunday night in Week 9, and the league has until the end of Tuesday to decide whether to flex it. Tampa Bay is 2-5, but it's the Bears' only scheduled Sunday night game, and the Bucs have won two of their past three after an 0-4 start.
