Injuries are already starting for Detroit. The Detroit Lions will be shorthanded in the trenches when they travel to Buffalo on Thursday night.
Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate): The #Lions have some major injury issues, as RT Blake Miller (knee) and LG Christian Mahogany (hip) are OUT for Thursday night vs. the Bills, while CB DJ Reed (foot) is questionable.
Right tackle Blake Miller (knee) and left guard Christian Mahogany (hip) are both OUT against the Bills, while cornerback DJ Reed (foot) is questionable. Losing both a starting tackle and a starting guard on a short week is a major test for Detroit's offensive line, which now has to reshuffle days after both players already showed up on Monday's estimated injury report.
Reed's questionable tag at least leaves the door open in the secondary, but the Lions head into a prime-time matchup against Buffalo down two starters up front.
