Arizona's banged-up secondary took another hit. The Cardinals are sending safety Kitan Crawford to injured reserve and bringing cornerback Kalen King up from the practice squad.

Crawford was carted off during Sunday's win over the Chargers with a mid-ankle sprain, though he is expected to return at some point this season. The second-year safety, a 2025 seventh-round pick, played 14 special-teams snaps and seven defensive snaps in the opener after appearing in 15 games as a rookie.
For Arizona, it continues a rough early run of secondary attrition, with King now getting the call to reinforce the back end while Crawford's ankle heals. A minimum four-game absence means the earliest return lands in mid-October, and the Cardinals will spend the next month patching coverage with depth pieces.
