The Seahawks have designated running back Zach Charbonnet to return from the physically unable to perform list, opening his practice window.
Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate): The #Seahawks have designated RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) to return from PUP. He will begin practicing with the team.
The move starts the 21-day clock for Seattle to activate Charbonnet, who has been on PUP with a knee injury. He will begin practicing with the team, and a recent medical checkup went well, per Mike Garafolo.
Charbonnet's return would give the Seahawks another option in the backfield alongside starter Kenneth Walker III. He has been a reliable complement when healthy, and getting him back adds depth to Seattle's ground game.
The team will work him through the practice window before deciding whether to activate him ahead of the next game.
