Jalen Ramsey is expected to play Thursday night against the Browns despite the fractured wrist that has him listed as questionable, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN): Steelers corner Jalen Ramsey (questionable, wrist) is expected to play tonight vs Cleveland, per sources. Broken wrist on three days rest and Ramsey still plans to play.
The veteran cornerback told reporters earlier this week he was dealing with the injury, but it is apparently not going to keep him off the field for Pittsburgh's AFC North opener. Ramsey has been a limited participant on all three of the Steelers' injury reports this week and has been utilizing a brace or cast on the wrist. The expectation that he plays comes on three days' rest, a quick turnaround that made the injury a question mark heading into the night.
In his second season with Pittsburgh, Ramsey has registered 17 total tackles with one pass defensed and a forced fumble so far in 2026. His presence matters against a Cleveland passing attack that will test the Steelers' secondary, especially with the team already ruling out cornerback Joey Porter Jr. for Thursday's game.
Pittsburgh hosts Cleveland at Acrisure Stadium in the first of two meetings between the division rivals this season.
