The NFL fined Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones $8,201 for a facemask on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, a Week 4 play on which Chase also took another hit and was ruled out with a concussion.

The fine is a single-infraction penalty and is separate from the season-high 10 player-safety fines the league announced for the same week. Jones' facemask drew the flag during the Jaguars-Bengals matchup and contributed to the sequence that sent Chase to the sideline.

Chase returned to practice earlier this week as he works through concussion protocol, and Cincinnati hosts the Steelers on Sunday. The Jaguars, meanwhile, face the Eagles in London, where Jacksonville will play 26 of its next 30 regular-season games away from home.
