Giants unsettled at QB and RB after Saints loss; McCarthy's time called 'coming'

The New York Giants are unsettled at both quarterback and running back after Sunday's home loss to the Saints, with coach John Harbaugh not yet ready to name a Week 7 starter.

Ian Rapoport said on Good Morning Football that whether it's this week or in the future, J.J. McCarthy's time is coming — the expectation around the quarterback room being that McCarthy eventually takes over.

The backfield also appears in flux after Sunday's defeat, adding another layer to what has become a turbulent stretch for the NFC East club. With the starter at neither spot locked in, Sunday's home loss has pushed the Giants into a week of significant uncertainty.
