Davante Adams left Rams' loss with non-contact leg injury
The Rams' veteran receiver pulled up late in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and hobbled off with an apparent left-leg issue, leaving a thin receiver room even thinner

Davante Adams picked up a non-contact leg injury late in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, and the Rams are suddenly left waiting on the health of their top pass-catcher. Adams pulled up while running into the end zone on a route, reached for his left knee and hobbled off the field for attention near the end of the game.
The Rams had only one more offensive play after Adams exited — a go-ahead touchdown that did not last, with Chad Ryland's field goal answering for Arizona. Coach Sean McVay was not asked about Adams's apparent injury during his postgame press conference.
Adams has 30 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns this season, though the bulk of that production came in Week 2 against the Giants (195 yards) and Week 3 at Denver (137). In the other four games combined, he has 148 total receiving yards. Last year he missed the final three regular-season games with a hamstring injury and still led the NFL in touchdown catches.
If Adams misses time, the Rams would again lean heavily on Puka Nacua, who had six catches for 80 yards Sunday and returned after missing two games with a hip/groin/pre-hernia issue. Behind those two, Los Angeles's receiver depth is thin — Konata Mumpfield, Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell, C.J. Daniels and Alex Bachman are the remaining options on the active roster.
