The Giants are expected to have two key pieces available for Sunday's game against the Saints despite questionable designations.
Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet): #Giants LT Andrew Thomas (groin) and edge Abdul Carter (calf) are both expected to play, sources say. Both are listed as questionable.
Left tackle Andrew Thomas (groin) and edge rusher Abdul Carter (calf) are both expected to play, per Ian Rapoport. Thomas' availability is critical for a Giants offensive line that has protected quarterback Jameis Winston well this season, while Carter's presence maintains the pass-rush punch of a front that has been disruptive.
The Giants host the 1-4 Saints at MetLife Stadium, where New York is seeking its first five-game home win streak since 2016. Getting both players on the field boosts New York on both sides of the line of scrimmage as it faces a New Orleans team coming off a rough start to the season.
