Dolphins list Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, Malik Washington as starting receivers for opener at Raiders

The Dolphins' new-look receiver room is now official on paper. Miami's depth chart for Sunday's season opener at Las Vegas lists Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas and Malik Washington as the starting wide receivers — a trio assembled almost entirely in the last year, taking the field in the Week 1 lineup for Jeff Hafley's first season.

Bell arrived in the offseason trade that sent Jaylen Waddle to Denver — a deal general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan made as part of a rebuild — and less than five months later, the player acquired in that trade is starting for the team that traded its star. Douglas is a rookie whose one-handed catch was among the highlights of the preseason opener, and Washington rounds out a first unit with zero holdover starters from the top of last year's chart.

The secondary has its own rookie wrinkle: Kyle Louis, previously listed as a linebacker, is now grouped with the safeties on the roster — backing up Dante Trader and Zayne Anderson alongside Michael Taaffe, with Joe Schad noting the shift.

The rest of the chart filled in the supporting cast: Seydou Traore and Justin Joly at tight end behind the starters, with Chu Godrick backing up at left tackle and Caedan Wallace at right tackle.

Sunday in Las Vegas will be the first full look at what the remade roster looks like in a game that counts — a rookie-heavy depth chart, a new coaching staff, and a receiver corps whose new No. 1 group has been together for months, not years. The Raiders' own opening depth chart landed Tuesday as well, setting the stage for both sides' season openers.
