Cowboys place S Jalen Thompson and DT Jonathan Bullard on IR
Dallas adds two more to injured reserve as the team deals with a depleted defense after its loss to the Ravens

The Cowboys have placed safety Jalen Thompson and defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard on injured reserve.
Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Cowboys placed S Jalen Thompson and DT Jonathan Bullard on injured reserve.
The move adds to a growing list of injuries for a Dallas defense that came up short against the Ravens. Both Thompson and Bullard are now sidelined for at least four games, thinning the Cowboys on the back end and along the interior of the line.
The Cowboys have acknowledged they need help in several areas, and the defense is dealing with its own attrition on top of that. Losing two more starters only reinforces the need for reinforcements.
The IR placements give Dallas roster flexibility to add replacements as it looks to steady a defense missing key contributors.
