Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was again a limited participant in Thursday's practice in London, the latest checkpoint in his return from the dislocated left elbow that has sidelined him since Week 1.

Daniels has now been limited in consecutive sessions this week as the Commanders prepare for Sunday's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Running back Rachaad White, meanwhile, logged a second straight non-participation, per the same practice report.
Washington has been careful not to rush its franchise quarterback back. He avoided surgery on the elbow for now, with a procedure still described as a strong possibility after the season, and the team has said it will not put him on the field before he is ready. Coach Dan Quinn has left the door open to Daniels playing Sunday, calling it a real chance while stressing the medical staff's caution.
The limited designations suggest progress — he is practicing on the trip rather than being held out entirely — but they do not guarantee an active status for the Colts game. The Commanders' staff is expected to gather more information Friday before making a final call on who starts under center in London.
