Both star receivers will be on the field for Monday Night Football: Commanders wideout Stefon Diggs and 49ers wideout Mike Evans are officially active, with Evans' status the bigger question mark after he missed practice all week.
Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet): All hands on deck: Both #Commanders WR Stefon Diggs and #49ers WR Mike Evans are officially active tonight. Evans did not practice all week.
Diggs was trending toward playing after the Commanders activated three players from injured reserve earlier in the day — cornerback Trey Amos, linebacker Jordan Magee and running back Jeremy McNichols — and his presence gives Washington its full complement of pass-catching options for the nationally televised matchup.
Evans, who was listed among the 49ers' questionable players entering the week, was cleared to play despite the lack of practice time, giving San Francisco's offense its most proven target available as the team looks to bounce back in prime time.
