The Bills and linebacker Joe Andreessen have agreed to a reported two-year extension worth $5 million, including $3 million guaranteed, Ian Rapoport reported.
Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet): The Bills and LB and Buffalo native Buffalo Joe Andreessen are in agreement on a 2-year, $5M extension with $3M guaranteed, per me and @AdamSchefter. The deal was negotiated by his agency Generation Sports Group.
Andreessen is a Buffalo native, and the reported deal keeps him with the team close to home. Rapoport said the agreement was negotiated by Generation Sports Group.
Once officially recorded, the extension would secure Andreessen's place in Buffalo beyond the current season. For now, the reported agreement is the news; the league transaction listing has not yet been confirmed as formally processed.
