The Bengals' top two receivers were limited or sidelined at Wednesday's practice, with Ja'Marr Chase working through a protocol and Tee Higgins limited as Cincinnati held six players out.
Paul Dehner Jr. (@PaulDehnerJr): Zac Taylor: Ja'Marr Chase working through protocol. Tee Higgins will be limited today. Bryan Cook and Kyle Dugger will not practice today.
Coach Zac Taylor said Chase is working through a protocol, while Higgins was expected to be limited — though Higgins was not in uniform and did not participate during the open portion of practice. Safeties Bryan Cook and Kyle Dugger also did not practice Wednesday.
The Bengals' injury report looks ready for the bye after this Sunday's game in Miami, with the team managing several key players as it heads into the final stretch before the week off. Chase and Higgins are the engine of Cincinnati's passing game, so their statuses will be closely watched through the week.
