The Bears are set to have their franchise quarterback back under center on Sunday. After three weeks on the sideline with a torn hamstring, Caleb Williams is expected to start against the Atlanta Falcons — a decision multiple NFL reporters confirmed Saturday.

Williams went through a full week of practice without any setbacks and took starter's reps throughout, according to sources. The Bears officially listed him as questionable on Friday's injury report, but the team's planning and preparation points to a clear return.

The 23-year-old suffered the hamstring tear in Chicago's Week 2 loss to the Colts and missed the ensuing three games — all Bears losses. Rookie backup Quinn Ewers started in his absence and the offense struggled to sustain drives, averaging just 14.3 points per game during that stretch.

Sunday marks a crucial test for Chicago (1-4). A win over Atlanta (3-2) would keep the Bears within striking distance in the NFC North, and having Williams back in the lineup gives the offense its primary playmaker under center — a clear upgrade from the 64.3 passer rating the team managed over the last three weeks.

Williams completed 62.4% of his passes for 687 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in the two full games he played before the injury.
