The Minnesota Vikings are bringing Odell Beckham Jr. up from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, adding veteran insurance to a receiver room dealing with injuries.
Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet): The #Vikings are elevating WR Odell Beckham Jr from the practice squad prior to the game against the #Saints. Some added depth and insurance with two top WRs questionable.
The Vikings listed both Justin Jefferson (quad) and Jordan Addison (hamstring) as questionable on Friday's injury report. While neither player has been ruled out, the elevation of Beckham gives Minnesota a proven option if either starter is limited or unavailable.
Beckham, 33, signed with the Vikings' practice squad in September after spending the 2025 season with the Miami Dolphins, where he caught 35 passes for 418 yards and three touchdowns. The three-time Pro Bowler has not appeared in a regular-season game for Minnesota yet this season.
The Vikings (3-1) travel to New Orleans for a Week 5 matchup. Whether Beckham actually sees the field on Sunday will hinge on the game-day status of Jefferson and Addison, which is expected to be determined closer to kickoff.
