The Houston Texans are getting back a key offensive weapon who has not played in nearly two years.
Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Texans HC DeMeco Ryans announced that WR Tank Dell is going to play Sunday vs. the Giants in what will be his first NFL game since December 2024.
Texans coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters Monday that wide receiver Tank Dell will play Sunday against the New York Giants, according to both Adam Schefter and Tom Pelissero. The game will be Dell's first NFL game since December 2024, when he sustained a major leg injury that required surgery and cost him the remainder of the 2024 season and all of 2025.
Dell, drafted by Houston in the third round of the 2023 draft, had emerged as a reliable weapon in the Texans offense before the injury. His return adds another proven target alongside Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison Jr. for quarterback C.J. Stroud.
The Texans (4-2) host the Giants on Sunday at NRG Stadium as they continue to push for the AFC South lead.
