Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate): The #Raiders have released T/G Evan Neal. The former No. 7 overall pick of the Giants was on the practice squad.
Ari Meirov reports that the Las Vegas Raiders have released offensive lineman Evan Neal. The former New York Giants first-round pick in 2023 had been on the Raiders' practice squad since late August.
Neal, 26, started 22 games for the Giants over two seasons before being released in March 2026. The Raiders signed him to their practice squad at the end of training camp. He was never elevated to the active roster during his time in Las Vegas.
Neal now hits the waiver wire, where any team could claim his remaining contract. A former top-10 pick at tackle with the ability to play guard as well, he is likely to draw interest from offensive line-needy teams despite a difficult start to his NFL career. }
