Texans agree to acquire Marvin Harrison Jr. from Cardinals in 2027 pick swap

The Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a trade sending wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to Houston, with Texans coach DeMeco Ryans confirming the move Sunday. Harrison will reunite in Houston with former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Houston will receive Harrison and a 2027 seventh-round pick, while Arizona gets a 2027 second-rounder and sixth-rounder, according to the terms Ari Meirov reported in a follow-up. The deal moves a former fourth overall pick to Houston and gives Arizona two selections in next year's draft.

The agreement follows Arizona's decision to make Harrison inactive against Detroit while trade talks were underway. Adam Schefter reported Saturday that the Cardinals had told Harrison he would sit, with the deal still being finalized at that point.
