Jalen Ramsey returns to practice as Iheanachor gets his shot at the right tackle job

The Steelers got two pieces of good news to open their final week of training camp. Jalen Ramsey is back at practice, along with offensive tackle Max Iheanachor, per Mark Kaboly of The Athletic.

Ramsey's return matters most. The star corner had been sidelined in recent days, and with the season opener against Seattle now just over two weeks away, Pittsburgh needs its top coverage player getting reps in defensive coordinator Teryl Austin's system rather than watching from the sideline. His presence Monday restores some order to a secondary that has been rotating bodies all month.

The more interesting battle is at right tackle, where Iheanachor's return puts him back in the mix for the starting job. Steelers Depot's Alex Kozora assessed the rookie's standing bluntly: the door to winning the job is "closed but not locked," and it will take a stellar showing in Thursday's preseason finale to kick it down.
