Four Ravens leave practice with trainers inside first 20 minutes

Receivers Octavian Smith, Xavier Guillory and Dayton Wade plus cornerback Bilhal Kone all headed to the athletic trainers early in Monday's session; Guillory later returned.

Monday's Ravens practice opened on an uncomfortable note. Within the first 20 minutes of the session, four Baltimore players left the field with athletic trainers — receivers Octavian Smith, Xavier Guillory and Dayton Wade, along with cornerback Bilhal Kone.

There was one immediate piece of relief: Guillory did return to practice after his trip inside, per The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. Smith, Wade and Kone remained off the field as of that report, and with no injury details disclosed, their status for the rest of cutdown week is unknown.

The timing matters for a roster built deep at receiver and corner but still making its hardest calls on defense. Kone has been one of the defensive backs competing in a crowded corner group that beat writers have flagged as playing well enough to make real roster decisions difficult, and Smith and Wade are both fighting for depth spots at a receiver position where the back end of the 53 is genuinely unsettled.

Baltimore is scheduled to practice again Tuesday before hosting Washington for a joint session Wednesday and the preseason finale Friday. Any of the three who remains sidelined will see those evaluation windows shrink fast ahead of Sunday's 6 p.m. ET cutdown deadline.
