The Rams exited Week 6 with an 18-16 loss to the Cardinals. The Monday-after casualty report may be worse than the loss itself.
Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters on Monday that wide receiver Davante Adams ruptured his hamstring in Sunday's game and will be sidelined 6-10 weeks.
The Rams also announced that defensive tackle Poona Ford ruptured his triceps and is out for the season, while defensive tackle Kobie Turner will miss 4-6 weeks with a groin injury and is expected to be placed on injured reserve. Kicker Blake Grupe tore his ACL and is also out for the season.
Adams had been the Rams' top pass-catcher, pulling up with a non-contact injury late in the fourth quarter. He finishes Sunday with 30 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns on the season, though the immediate concern is measured in months, not weeks. Poona Ford had been the Rams' best interior run defender after signing a three-year deal this offseason. Kobie Turner has been Los Angeles's most productive pass-rushing defensive tackle with four sacks.
Grupe's torn ACL now forces the Rams back onto the kicker market. The Rams (2-4) are suddenly looking at extended absences from four key contributors across three position groups coming out of a single game. }
