The NFL is expected to suspend Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games for punching Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face during postgame gathering following Monday night's 37-34 overtime loss, per league sources.
Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson is expected to be suspended two games for punching Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb during Monday night's postgame gathering, per sources. But the NFL has not yet notified the team nor the NFLPA.
The league has not yet formally notified the team or the NFLPA, which means Jackson cannot begin serving the suspension until the NFL makes it official. If the two-game ban stands as expected, Jackson would miss Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals and Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Video from after the game showed Jackson exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker at midfield when Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson. Jackson responded with a right hook to Chubb's face before Rams tight end Colby Parkinson pulled him away. Chubb characterized the incident afterward as "just emotions."
Ari Meirov of MySportsUpdate confirmed the expected two-game suspension, noting the Rams will be without their starting left tackle for consecutive weeks. Jackson has started all five games this season but missed only one game in 2025. The Rams will now turn to their offensive line depth to protect Matthew Stafford's blind side against the Cardinals and Raiders.
