Raiders WR Dont’e Thornton Jr. returned to practice Wednesday as his 21-day window opened, Sam Warren reports.
Sam Warren (@samwarren83): Dont’e Thornton Jr. is back at Raiders practice. The team opened his 21-day practice window to return from IR today. Thornton said he was dealing with a hamstring injury.
The window lets the Raiders evaluate Thornton in practice while they decide whether to activate him; Warren identified the hamstring as the reason for his time on IR.
Right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson is set to practice, while wide receiver Jalen Nailor remained in concussion protocol. That gives a wider view of the Raiders' Wednesday work across the receiving group and offensive line.
