Lions get Brian Branch, Cade Mays back at practice
Brian Branch and Cade Mays returned to practice Wednesday after being designated for return from IR/PUP earlier this week

Lions safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays returned to practice Wednesday, Colton Pouncy reports.
Colton Pouncy (@colton_pouncy): Lions DB Brian Branch and C Cade Mays returned to practice Wednesday. Didn’t see DT Tyleik Williams or G Ben Bartch.
The practice work advances the process for two players who had been sidelined: Branch with an Achilles injury and Mays with a wrist issue, according to the earlier return designations. Wednesday's report moves them from the designation stage to on-field work with the team.
Having a safety and a center back in practice gives Detroit work at two different position groups as the Lions continue through the week. The update confirms participation, not an activation.
