George Kittle's comeback from a torn Achilles is now official: the 49ers' star tight end is off the injury report and will be on the field when San Francisco opens the season against the Rams in Melbourne, Australia.

Nick Bosa, who had been managing a knee issue, also has no game status and will play, giving the 49ers their two biggest stars on opposite sides of the ball for the opener. The rest of San Francisco's availability board is in solid shape, too: the team's other comebacks — including linebacker Fred Warner — are cleared to suit up.

How much Kittle plays remains to be seen — he was listed as limited all week as the team manages his return, and the 49ers have stressed his workload will be determined as the game unfolds. The fact that he is on the field at all, eight months after tearing his Achilles, is impressive enough.
