Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith, the Eagles' two most explosive playmakers, are officially out for Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars in London — two of five Philadelphia players ruled out for the game.

The full list also includes wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle), safety Marcus Epps (groin) and center Drew Kendall (knee), while defensive end Jonathan Greenard is listed as questionable with an ankle issue.

The absences deplete the skill group Philadelphia will lean on across the Atlantic. Barkley anchors the backfield and has been a weekly focal point for the offense, so his status is a significant escalation of what was already a difficult week. The Eagles' travel-heavy schedule and an injury report this deep compound the challenge for an offense that also lost veteran quarterback Andy Dalton earlier Friday, when the club released him with Tanner McKee and Cole Payton moving up behind Jalen Hurts.

Greenard's questionable tag leaves another starter on the fence, but the confirmed five — along with the London travel — mean Philadelphia will be shorthanded in a game that matters for its NFC record before the trip home.
