The Cowboys are taking care of their own again. Dallas has agreed to a one-year contract extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, keeping him under contract through the 2027 season, sources confirmed to Todd Archer.
Todd Archer (@toddarcher): Sources confirm @Schultz_Report report of Ryan Flournoy agreeing to a one-year extension with the Cowboys. Another potential RFA after this season now signed through 2027.
Flournoy, a sixth-round pick in 2024, was another potential restricted free agent after this season. The extension follows the same path the club took with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford, who signed a three-year, $18 million extension with $12.075 million guaranteed earlier Thursday. Both players were set to hit restricted free agency next offseason; Dallas moved to lock both up now rather than wait.
Adding Flournoy to the fold secures depth in a receiver room where CeeDee Lamb anchors the top, with Dallas building out the rest of the pass-catching corps behind him. The terms of Flournoy's one-year deal were not immediately disclosed.
