Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter): Colts are signing veteran TE Pharaoh Brown off their practice squad and on to their active roster.
The move gives Indianapolis another experienced option at tight end after Brown spent time on the team's practice squad. He joins the 53-man roster as a veteran addition to a position room the Colts have leaned on this season.
Adding Brown to the active roster gives the coaching staff immediate flexibility in how they deploy the tight end group. The signing is the Colts' latest in-season adjustment as they look to keep the position fresh and add proven depth behind their top options.
