Dillon Gabriel took part in Cleveland's early quarterback drill Wednesday with his 21-day window open. Zac Jackson quoted head coach Todd Monken saying the team would get Gabriel back out to practice and evaluate where he is, but Monken made no commitment to a roster move.
Zac Jackson (@AkronJackson): Monken said Elgton Jenkins will return to practice today. On Dillon Gabriel, "get him out there to practice, see where he is...look forward to seeing him back out there." No commitment to any kind of roster move. Hall and Graham won't practice today.
The practice participation is a step beyond the return-window designation from earlier this week. For now, the reported update is about getting Gabriel back on the field, not an activation.
