The Minnesota Vikings are signing veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad, adding a proven playmaker to a receiver room that has leaned heavily on Justin Jefferson.
Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report): BREAKING: Odell Beckham Jr. is signing with the #Vikings, per sources.
Beckham joins a 4-0 Vikings team that reached out to him quickly after the Giants moved on, per Jordan Schultz, who noted the offense has been looking for a spark despite the undefeated start. His relationship with Jefferson is seen as a plus in the locker room.
The move also reunites Beckham with head coach Kevin O'Connell, who was on the Rams staff when Beckham helped Los Angeles win the Super Bowl in early 2022. He gives Minnesota veteran depth and a big-play option behind Jefferson and the rest of the receiving corps.
