Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels was throwing Wednesday and is expected to be a full participant in practice, ESPN reporter John Keim reported; Adam Schefter highlighted the update.
John Keim (@john_keim): Jayden Daniels throwing again today. Expected to be a full participant in practice.
This advances the Commanders' earlier plan for Daniels to practice fully and start Sunday against the Giants: the new report says he is throwing, though it does not confirm he has completed the session. Daniels is working back from the elbow injury that has kept him out of recent games.
Washington's quarterback depth remains relevant as the team tracks his progress. The Commanders worked out QB Jack Plummer earlier Wednesday, while Marcus Mariota remains off injured reserve after his MCL sprain. Those moves give the club additional options while Daniels works toward a return.
