Tucker Kraft does 11-on-11 work at Packers practice
Green Bay tight end Tucker Kraft took part in 11-on-11 drills for the first time since tearing his ACL last season, a big step toward his Week 1 goal.
Packers tight end Tucker Kraft took a big step back toward the lineup on Sunday, participating in 11-on-11 work for the first time since tearing his ACL last season. Head coach Matt LaFleur teased the possibility before practice, telling reporters they might be in for a treat when asked when Kraft would move into team drills.

The reporters at Green Bay practice later confirmed Kraft was back in on 11-on-11s, working on schedule in his recovery from the right ACL tear he suffered 287 days ago.
Kraft has been aiming for a Week 1 return all offseason, although LaFleur said earlier this summer that the tight end could take part in a joint practice with the Cardinals on August 26. The return to full team work would seem to make that likelier, though the team has time to make that call.
Kraft is also in line for a contract extension, and continued health should help his chances of landing one before the final year of his rookie deal is over.
