Titans QB Mitchell Trubisky being evaluated for biceps injury

Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is being evaluated for a biceps injury after an early exit from Monday's practice, head coach Robert Saleh said.
Trubisky left the field with trainers attending to his right bicep following a deep throw, according to a report from beat writer Terry McCormick. Saleh confirmed the evaluation, and the early read from the practice sideline was that the issue is being taken seriously enough to warrant a full workup.
The timing is awkward for a Titans quarterback room already managing depth. Trubisky, a veteran presence behind the starter, had been competing for the No. 2 role and providing mentorship in the meeting room. Any absence lengthens the runway for the club's younger arms to absorb reps.
Saleh also noted another player — identified as Tate — was evaluated but believed to have simply had the wind knocked out of him, with a concussion not a concern as of the update. For now, the focus is on Trubisky's biceps and how long the evaluation keeps him out of team periods.
