Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet): Sources: Former #Lions first-round CB Terrion Arnold is expected to sign with the #Seahawks. He finds a new home after taking several visits.
The Lions waived Arnold on June 29 following his arrest in Florida. The third-year cornerback faces four felony counts each of armed robbery and kidnapping, charges he has denied while his legal case proceeds in Tampa. His arraignment, originally scheduled for Thursday, was handled earlier via Zoom, and his next court date is a status hearing Oct. 5 in Tampa.
The NFL now must decide whether to place Arnold on the Commissioner's Exempt List. In the second episode of "Hard Knocks," the Seahawks indicated they believe Arnold will be allowed to practice and play in the preseason. He is represented by Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports. Seattle adds a former first-round talent to its cornerback room as its legal situation plays out, with his availability to be determined as the case continues.
