Seattle placed cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles on injured reserve, ending his 2026 season, according to Seahawks beat writer Gregg Bell. Jean-Charles struggled in the team's Saturday preseason game and now exits the picture entirely, thinning a corner group already working through camp competition.
The Seahawks also waived rookie running backs T.J. Harden and Justin Jones and re-signed linebacker Power Echols. The running back trims come as top rookie Jadarian Price returned to full work and Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet anchor the position. Echols gives the linebacker room another body ahead of final cutdowns.
