Saints place first-round WR Jordyn Tyson on IR with hamstring injury

Tyson, the No. 8 overall pick out of Arizona State, had been viewed as a potential immediate contributor alongside Chris Olave in a young Saints passing game. His absence is a notable blow for a New Orleans offense breaking in a new starting quarterback, and it continues a frustrating injury history for the receiver, who dealt with multiple ailments during his college career. The Saints can designate Tyson to return later in the year, but his NFL debut will wait until at least early October.
