The Raiders continued reshaping their practice squad Thursday, adding wide receiver Ronnie Bell and defensive end Azeez Ojulari alongside former Giants' first-round pick Evan Neal.
Neal was selected seventh overall out of Alabama in the 2022 draft and started 27 games during his Giants tenure, primarily at right tackle before a move to right guard. Ari Meirov noted that Neal now gets a fresh start in Las Vegas.
Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate): The #Raiders have signed former #Giants T/G Evan Neal, the No. 7 overall pick out of Alabama in 2022. The 25-year old Neal started 27 games during his time with the Giants, and now gets a fresh start in Las Vegas.
The signing adds experienced offensive line depth to the Raiders' roster as they prepare for the regular season. Bell brings receiver depth after spending time with the Saints, while Ojulari provides pass-rush depth.
In corresponding roster moves, the Raiders released defensive end Jahfari Harvey, tackle Kamar Missouri, and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam Jr. from the practice squad to make room for the new additions.
